Privacy notice
Last updated 12 October 2026
This notice explains how (“we”, “us”) uses the information you give us through this website, as required by UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
We are the data controller for your information: .
What we collect
When you send an enquiry: your name, mobile number, the postcode and type of the property, the services you’re interested in, your preferred date and time of day, and anything else you choose to tell us.
If you contact us another way — by phone, text, email, Facebook, Instagram or another social network — we record the same kind of details (and your social media name, if that’s how you contacted us) in the same system, so we can reply, quote and book the work.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t store it with your enquiry.
We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. See our cookie policy.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a visit or quote. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep a record of enquiries and jobs, and to keep the website secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in running the business and preventing misuse (Article 6(1)(f)).
We don’t use your details for marketing, we don’t sell them, and no decisions about you are made automatically. You don’t have to give us your details, but we can’t reply to an enquiry without a name and phone number.
Who we share it with
- WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd, part of Meta). When you press Send in WhatsApp, your message travels through WhatsApp, and WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to it. Nothing is sent until you press Send.
- Gener4tion Digital (G Flow) provides this enquiry system for us. They may only access your details to run and support it, on our instructions.
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and securely stores enquiries on our behalf. They may only use the data to provide that service.
Netlify stores this data on servers in London, with backups in the EU. Netlify is a US company; where your data is accessed from outside the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that are never sent are deleted automatically after 30 days. Other enquiries are deleted automatically after 12 months with no activity. If you book a job, we keep the details we need for it. Messages you send us on WhatsApp stay in that chat until they are deleted there.
How we protect it
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Enquiries can only be seen by , through a password-protected dashboard.
Your rights
You can ask us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to us using it, or give you a copy to take elsewhere. Contact us and we’ll respond within one month. It’s free in most cases.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
